It's great to be a tourist in one's own country and we took my son's 21st birthday as an opportunity to show his mates a bit of the city. This is the view of Cape Town one can expect on arriving in South Africa's most beautiful city.

On the way to Stellenbosch - the wine farm area around Cape Town - there is the Cape Town film studios, so we grabbed a photo under the Universal Studios sign. In Stellenbosch where my son is studying engineering, the wine farms are fantastic and a wine-tasting or two or three is compulsory.
