Germany to Cape Town for 2010 World Cup

World Cup fever has taken over South Africa and fans have even driven to Cape Town from Germany to follow their national team in Durban, then Port Elizabeth and to the final (?). And they made the journey through Europe and Africa in a bright red Fire Truck! Check their blog here.

Not to be outdone, Netherlands fans, who have now notched up 2 wins, are sporting their Cape Town 2010 orange shirts and an orange brigade has been following them around South Africa.

Cape Town gets ready for 2010


Making sure Cape Town is ready for the 2010 FIFA Football World Cup being held in South Africa, are in the photos from top to bottom the new Greenpoint Stadium which is nearing completion, the official World Cup Mascot and the fabulous new airport which opened last week.
